Graduated Trenton State College in 1973 with a BS degree in Health and Physical Education. Married Susan Scherrieb (NMHS Class of 70) in August 1973. Taught one year at Ridgefield Park HS. Taught driver's ed, coached football and indoor track. Moved to Bergan Tech HS in 1974. Taught driver's ed, health and PE. Coached football, baseball, and softball. Taught at Bergan Tech for 16 years and was athletic director from 1980 – 1990. We have two children; Jennifer and Brett. Moved to North Carolina in 1990 where I taught H & PE in a middle school in Cabarrus County (North of Charlotte) and coached football and track. Transferred to Mt. Pleasant HS where I have been the last ten years as a H & PE teacher, coaching football and softball. I am also the athletic director, a position I have held for the past ten years. My wife Susan also teaches at Mt. Pleasant where she is the head cheerleading coach. Our children have graduated Appalachian State College. Jennifer works in real estate and Brett sells for a fabric company.
