After graduating from NMHS I received my BA in Art Education from Glasssboro State College (now Rowan University ).I taught art for 10 years in southern NJ where I settled permanently. After leaving teaching I worked for the Art Institute of Philadelphia, then on to an account rep and marketing coordinator for a mainframe system software company and when they outsourced my position I returned to the art world. I spent the next 10 years as Assistant Director of Admission for The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and during that tenure earned moved up to Director of Continuing Education at UArts. Aside from work I am very active in South Jersey Ski Club and also do volunteer work for the Animal Welfare Association. After two failed marriages, I now share a home and a wonderful life with Bill in Delran , NJ . We enjoy outdoor vacations hiking and skiing. He was with me every step of the way when I added cancer survivor to my resume this past year. The accompanying photo is from our trip to Alaska this past August (2004), celebrating my return to good health. |
