Upon graduation I attended a number of schools, earned a degree in insurance underwriting and married my high school sweetheart, Eileen Szelesta, (Class of 70). In 1976 we moved to Pennsylvania where we purchased a home in the mountains and raised five children, all of whom are out on their own and either married or in college. We have four grandchildren. In 1987 I was stricken with multiple sclerosis. I took advantage of the disability and went back to school where I earned degrees in computer science and graphic communications. I now work as a computer and network system administrator for a local school system, operate a computer consulting and repair business, and run graphic design and web service firm.Believing that hobbies should add to one’s income rather than detract, I pursued my guitar playing and played professionally on weekends for twenty-five years with various bands. As therapy during my recovery from MS, I started practicing slight of hand with cards and coins. That grew to the point where I turned professional and entertained at local clubs, colleges, fairs and children’s events. A few years back, Eileen and I amicably parted ways and I remarried. My wife Pamela and I live on a small homestead in the Laurel Mountains of western Pennsylvania where we grow our own food and raise livestock. Yes, I am a farmer…. Something that I never would have believed if you told me back in 69.
